Profile Code is a digital identity platform operated by Skydan Holdings Limited. We help individuals and businesses share their contact information and social profiles through a unique ProfileCode. Our website is profilecodes.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

  • Account information: name, email address, password
  • Profile information: phone number, bio, social media links, profile photo
  • Payment information: processed securely by Paystack — we do not store card details
  • Usage data: profile views, login times, feature usage

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Profile Code service
  • To display your public profile card when someone visits your ProfileCode URL
  • To send transactional emails such as account verification and password reset
  • To process subscription payments
  • To provide customer support

4. Information we share

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (SOC2 compliant)
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment
  • Paystack — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Law enforcement when required by applicable law

5. Your public profile

Your ProfileCode page at profilecodes.com/profile/YOURCODE is publicly accessible by default. You can control what information is displayed using the Privacy settings in your dashboard. You can set your profile to private at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your dashboard settings. For any privacy requests, contact us at privacy@profilecodes.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Row Level Security on our database, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
