Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Profile Code (the Service), operated by Skydan Holdings Limited, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Profile Code provides a digital identity platform allowing users to create a public profile card accessible via a unique ProfileCode. The Service includes a web application at profilecodes.com, profile card sharing and download features, subscription-based premium features, and NFC tap card setup guidance.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • One person may not maintain more than one free account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Profile Code to:

  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other user accounts
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Upload malicious code or content

5. ProfileCodes

Free plan users are assigned a ProfileCode. Pro plan users may regenerate their code. Elite plan users may set a custom vanity code, subject to availability. We reserve the right to reclaim codes that violate our acceptable use policy or are inactive for more than 12 months on the free plan.

6. Subscriptions and payments

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
  • Payments are processed by Paystack in your local currency
  • Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 7 days
  • Downgrading your plan takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Profile Code. By posting content, you grant us a licence to display it as part of the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your profile content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your ProfileCode URL will stop resolving within 24 hours.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Profile Code shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
